Aloha!

My name is Lainey Tomiko Lehuamakamae Collado (Or just Lainey). I am an animator/writer based in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, and Portland, Oregon. She is currently focusing on character design and animation, the theme of her works mainly consist of Local Hawaiian culture and history, and critiques of Hawaiʻiʻs current and historical struggles through using elements of fiction and fantasy. She is currently pursuing a BFA degree in the Animated Arts at Pacific Northwest College of Art. She has won numerous awards including a silver key for the Scholastics Art Competition and the Rose Scholarship.
